*The Air Force Fuels Automated Management Program was a $125 million program that deployed automated fuel gas stations, automatic fuel tank gauges, and a wireless base and wholesale level fuel distribution and accounting system worldwide. The wholesale management system was responsible for tracking and accounting for fuel sales of over $4 billion annually. The system was deployed at over 200 bases worldwide and centrally developed and managed at the FAMS Office at Gunter AFB.
